Lose Belly Fat in a Month

Diet Food

Have you ever thought of what your belly fat can do to your health? If you are still sitting on that couch, gorging on pop-corns, burgers along with some diet drinks and watching TV, its time you switch off the TV and get ready for some physical activities. Physical inactivity, poor eating habits and inadequate sleep are the main factors causing your tummy to bulge. Since I have suffered mentally, physically and emotionally when I was slightly overweight with a bulging belly, I can understand what you may be going through. I research a lot about body fat including abdominal fat and can assure you that you will be able to lose your belly fat, if you are positive-minded and ready to change your lifestyle.
You must make some short-term goals. Before starting the rigorous exercise session, perform light exercises and change your dietary habits slowly within two weeks. For example, go for walking or swimming for half-an-hour daily and say a big NO to junk foods. After that, make a routine for 1 month to reduce abdominal fat. This was the way I started my fat-reduction process and I benefited a lot from that.

  • Eat food in small portion for 5-6 times throughout the day. Take lots of water, vegetables and foods that are low in fat and high in protein.
  • Exercise for 1 hour while focusing on cardio, abs and strength training. A physical trainer is the best person to show you the postures.
  • Yoga can affect your mind and help in the fat-reduction process. Practice 30 minutes of yoga every day.
  • Whatever you do throughout the day, sleep for at least 8 hours. Take a 2 hour break between dinner and sleep. Walk for 20-30 minutes after dinner so that you burn calories that is not possible during sleeping.
With these steps, you will certainly lose belly fat in a month. However, if you have excessive fat, you will take some more time.  Make this new year resolution for healthy lifestyle.

New Year Resolution for a Healthy Lifestyle

Have you made your new year resolution? It's special time of year and we all like to make some promises to ourselves. For me my new year resolution is no different from the last year. This time also I promised to myself to live a healthy life so that I can fulfill my professional and personal commitments without facing any health hazards. I think, everyone of us should think of their health first and make attempts to protect this wealth. I know that the freshness of the new years propels most of us to make new promises, but as time passes by we like to stick to our old habits and forgets what promises we made to ourselves. So, if you really want to make true promises, you must start with a promise of leading a healthy life.

I will like to give you some examples of how to go for a simple, yet beautiful lifestyle which will make you feel fresh and energetic all throughout the day. Start with small and simple promises like:
  • I will get up early in the morning and go for jogging or walking for 30 minutes.
  • I will try to quit smoking and drinking. Don't try to make so many changes at one time. Initially you can smoke for twice or thrice a week. Try to reduce the frequency gradually and within 5-6 months you will be able to change your old habits.
  • I will take out some time for the forgotten habits. It will give you immense pleasure.
  • I will join a gym and perform intense cardio exercises to burn belly fat and excess fat in other areas of your body.
  • I will sleep for 9 hours a day and eat healthy fruits to maintain my cholesterol level.
Don't make any big promises. I hope your new year resolution will surely help you to stay fit and healthy.

Melanoma Cancer Research and Breakthrough

Melanoma cancer research is of various forms and is very useful to deal with malignancy in melanocytes. Melanoma cancer breakthroughs can be of medical or non-medical forms and their basic purpose is to make process of diagnosis and treatment more efficient and affordable. Breakthroughs and research is closely inter-related as one decides efficiency of the other. Research is a continuous process and several leading cancer organizations are dedicated to work out on various aspects of the disorder and explore suitable breakthroughs.

Detailed View on Melanoma Cancer Breakthroughs and Research

Research is a vital aspect effective in making improvements in various processes like treatment, prevention, diagnosis, and post-treatment phase of cancer of melanocytes. It helps to make these processes more advanced with optimum use of available infrastructure. Research and breakthroughs are particularly important to eliminate loopholes in current patterns and explore new and advanced methods of cure.

Research findings have to be executed in an appropriate manner to maintain their reliability. All breakthrough may not be applicable universally. Hence, major factors that are likely to impact output after implementing such breakthroughs should be studied in detail. Most of the organizations  attempt for hard core medical research and only a selected few also consider non-medical aspects as a part of their research process.

Medical research for melanoma cancer focuses primarily on improving current methods and inventing new techniques for early and timely diagnosis and treatment of tumors that generate in skin. Diagnosis is another major area medical research focuses on. Skin cancer is of various different forms and thorough diagnosis is required to know exact origin and cause of cancer growth. Melanoma is the most commonly detected form of cancer of skin and infects mainly the melanocytes. There are other types of skin infections (both non-cancerous and cancerous) that may show symptoms much similar to those displayed in melanoma cancer. Reliable and consistent medical research on cancer of melanocytes helps to interpret early signs early so that right kind of treatment can be initiated at the earliest.

Non-medical research is another important kind of research concerned with cancer of melanocytes.   Such research focuses mainly on aspects like exploring new risk factors related to the disorder on both regional and universal basis. Another important aspect that is considered during non-medical research is exploring new and reliable early signs for cancerous or malignant growth in melanocytes. The research also focuses on other aspects like preventive techniques and post-cure options. This is helpful for both the general people as well as those who have already suffered from the disorder. Such research is extremely helpful to curb chances of recurrence of the disorder in long-run.

Important Melanoma Cancer Research Findings and Breakthroughs

Recent research has put considerable focus on identifying genetic factors responsible for early abnormality in melanocytes. Such research also considers family medical history and has come up with valuable outputs. There is a proven link between family history of cancer of melanocytes and chances of a person to get vulnerable to the disorder. Thus, regular medical tests are recommended to deal with the disorder with minimum possible risks and in a timely manner.

Another research says that people with brown, green, or blue-colored eyes are more prone to cancer of melanocytes than the ones with black eyes. Skin color also matters while judging possibility of malignancy in melanocytes. Black-colored people have less chances of the malignancy as compared to the ones from white or Caucasian race.

Melanoma cancer research has to be focused and in accordance with contemporary requirements. This helps in systematic execution of various melanoma cancer breakthroughs and makes overall process more logical, practical, and safe.

Psychiatric Emergencies - Suicide

Psychiatric emergencies include various mental conditions that trigger suddenly and are harmful for the individual suffering, as well as people surrounding him. Psychiatric emergencies usually include violent behavior, aggression, and suicidal attempts. Suicide and homicide attempts are prime psychiatric conditions that seek immediate medical attention from an experienced psychiatrist. Continual rise in the psychiatric problems challenges the psychiatric services. Suicidal behavior calls for a social help. Although, suicide is a sudden act of a person suffering from mental disorder, it may be a result of suicidal thoughts that keep accumulating in the patient's mind over a period of time.
Suicidal attempts are the most common life-threatening psychiatric emergencies. The instances of suicidal attempts have increased by 47% since the last decade. A person should be immediately offered psychiatric emergency services by a mental health professional. Diagnostic clarity is a must for an effective treatment of psychiatric problems. An effective treatment may be dependent upon the underlying cause of behavioral disorder.
Causes of Suicidal Thoughts
There are various reasons that are responsible for a person committing suicide or attempting a suicide. However, some common reasons are given below. People varyingly respond to a certain incident according to their beliefs and ambitions.
  • Usual reason for people attempting suicide is failure in relations, be it family problems or failure in love.
  • Some people are ambitious or may be over ambitious and have high aspirations about their studies, grades, and jobs. In case, their ambitions about these elements do not fulfill, they may be shattered and attempt suicide.
  • Unlike the above reasons, which are common in adolescent and younger generation, another cause for committing suicide may be medical conditions. Such reasons are common in elderly people. People unable to cope with chronic diseases are also likely to commit suicide.
Symptoms of Suicidal Thoughts
Suicide attempt is sudden and is a result of temptation to end one's life.. If suicide thought and attempt is associated with a sudden shock, it cannot show any symptoms. However, not always a person commits suicide immediately as a reaction to shock;his suicide attempt can be a result of depression or medical illness. A person suffering from depression can be identified by his low energy, lack of interest, and he may choose to remain isolated from the society.
Diagnosis of suicide thoughts can be based on observation of the behavioral disorders of a person. Studies show that if a person has tried a suicide attempt, which failed, he may try it again in a year's time or within 2 years. Behavioral disorders such as aggression, violence, and isolation is common in people with suicidal tendency.
Treatment of suicide thoughts is to find out the cause for the suicidal attempts and then counseling the person, so that he can overcome the depression. To help him in overcoming depression, pharmacological treatment with antidepressants is also useful. Suicide treatment should begin immediately after observing behavioral changes in a person or after an unsuccessful suicide attempt.

Disaster Management within the Hospital

The disaster management within the hospital is one of the most important tasks to be carried out. It helps in managing and taking responsibilities during different medical emergencies. Hospital is a place where different emergency cases keep on coming. It’s the duty of the hospital management to handle these emergency cases effectively to avoid any loss of life. The management then consists of immediate treatments, adequate provision of medications, intensive care units, and the doctors dealing with medical emergencies.
Following are some of important factors taken care of during disaster management within the hospital:

  • Medical Specialist and Doctors: These are the most important people during any medical emergency. A hospital must look to it that they have enough specialist and doctors to handle any arriving emergency cases. They must be properly trained to handle emergency situations and recover the patient from any life threatening problems.
  • Emergency Rooms and Units: A hospital must have ample emergency rooms and intensive care units. These rooms must be well equipped with all the necessary medications and accessories required for treating a patient. These rooms can also be installed with cameras for regular or continuous monitoring of the patient.
  • Laboratory: The hospital must have a full fledged laboratory. It helps in carrying out different tests and get quick results which further helps in providing appropriate treatments to the patient.
  • Blood Bank: Blood bank is the most necessary units to have in a hospital. A patient might lose a lot of blood during medical emergencies. Thus, providing him with blood is one of the major treatment issues. Availability of blood from the blood bank avoids any casualties and prevents any life threatening problems.
  • Responsibilities of the Staff: The staff responsibilities play a major role in the disaster management. The hospital staff comprises of doctors, nurses, admitting office, maintenance, and house keeping. Proper interaction and coordination among the staff helps to overcome any emergency effectively.

The above issues are some of the most important and highly considered issues during disaster management within the hospital. The considerations of above requirements help in overcoming any medical emergencies effectively and without any casualties.
